How It Works
Using the browser-based editor, you search for any location on earth and see it rendered in real time on a poster canvas. From there, you can customize every detail: choose from over ten visual themes, adjust colors, add text overlays with city names and coordinates, drop markers on meaningful spots, or trace a route between locations. The result is a print-ready poster file you can download instantly.
Map Data and Accuracy
All map data comes from OpenStreetMap, a collaborative mapping project maintained by a global community of contributors. This means every street, park, river, and coastline on your poster reflects real-world geography with high precision. MapPoster renders this data using MapLibre GL, an open-source map rendering engine, to produce clean vector-based visuals at any zoom level.

- Premium downloads at high resolution (up to 7200 pixels, depending on your device; minimum 3840 pixels) without any watermark, optimized for professional printing on paper sizes up to A1 or 24x36 inches.
Files are delivered as high-quality JPEG, PNG, WebP, or PDF at 300 DPI, compatible with any print shop or home printer. SVG export is also available for Artistic themes, giving you a true vector file that scales to any size without losing quality. No account or sign-up is required.
